Open House and 1st Annual Fundraiser!

Sea Turtle Adventures is thrilled to announce we are moving our headquarters location, and to celebrate we will be hosting our 1st Annual Open House Fundraiser on April 29, 2023!  We are busy planning a fun filled evening of BBQ, music, raffles, and more!  Plus, attendees will have an opportunity to tour our new facility at First Presbyterian Church of Boynton Beach which will be home to our growing iCare Program.

What is iCare?  iCare was formed in November 2017 by Jackie Kingston, marine biologist and certified Supported Living Coach.  Combining her love for nature and her desire to help the special needs community, she established iCare to enrich the lives of adults with autism and related intellectual developmental disabilities.  The Program provides opportunities for participants to enhance life skills, social skills, develop new interests, and make new friends.  iCare serves nearly 200 adults with special needs throughout Palm Beach County.  iCare engages special needs adults in the community by providing meaningful nature-based opportunities as a vehicle to enhance their quality of life.  iCare also hosts multiple social events every month including movie nights, bingo, cooking classes and Club K (a monthly nightclub experience).

Funds raised during our Open House and fundraiser will go towards the cost of these offerings as well as providing financial assistance for low-income participants.  Our new location is a perfect fit for our needs, providing dedicated classroom space for our Day Program, outdoor green space to explore, a quieter location with improved parking, and room for future growth.  We can’t wait for you to see it!
